True, HD protection for the aftermarket shocks on your Ram 2500 and 3500! Unlike any of the light-duty gravel guards on the market, these skid plates offer robust 3/16″ steel construction with a stainless steel impact face to keep wear & impacts from turning your shocks or their guards into a rusty mess.
Structurally these guards are extremely robust, mounting directly to your truck’s axle bracketry and utilizing a load key that applies any impact load directly into the bracket, rather than into any of the hardware. These guards do not use the shock mounting bolt so shock install/removal/service is still easy!
Complete hand access is offered for Clicker Adjusters (if equipped) on your shock reservoirs.
A large gravel-drain port is built into the guard to ensure that any rocks/mud/sand that enters the guard is able to simply fall through and won’t hurt your shocks.
