One of the more prominent features on the roof, inertial filter hatches or “dust bins” can be found atop second- and third-generation EMD hood units. Each kit features deeply molded, ultra-fine exhaust grilles, hex-head mounting bolts, precise dimension accuracy and a raised mounting surface that “floats” the hatch just off the top of the long hood.
